Masatoshi Honda
Masatoshi is co-founder and chief rainmaker of GRA&GREEN Inc, an agricultural biotechnology startup, which uses the cross-family grafting technology with tobacco plant to combine different species and apply cutting-edge genome editing to wide range of plants. This includes disease and drought-resistant rootstock for vegetable seedlings to help deal with desertification. After his study in Biomaterials Engineering at University of Tokyo, where he earned Dean’s Award, he worked for McKinsey & Company. Masatoshi was selected as Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2018. He has previously served also in the public sector, as an advisor to Governor of Tokyo and Osaka.
