Herb Coleman PhD

Dr. Herb Coleman is an Adjunct Professor of Psychology and Student Development at Austin Community College. A technologist and college professor, he has almost 30 years of classroom instruction and implementation of technology to support instruction. Recently retired as Director of Classroom Technology Services, Dr. Coleman continues to teach and research instruction and technology as well as train faculty in use of educational technology. He recently presented at previous SXSW events on VR in the Classroom, Google Classroom, Fidget Spinners and Mindfulness, Places Deviants Gather online, and Sex Education in a Web 2.0 World. His introductory to Psychology classes have researched the ASMR phenomenon and he will present those findings as part of his presentation.
