Elise Trouw
As a multi-instrumental recording artist, Elise Trouw is blazing her own path by defining what it means to be a musician in popular music today. The San Diego native was raised on a wide variety of music including bands like Steely Dan, Green Day, and Radiohead.
Elise released her debut album Unraveling, in March 2017. Although predominantly a drummer at the time, she quickly expanded her musical palette and performed every instrument and vocal track on the album. A few months later she uploaded an innovative live looping mashup of Foo Fighters’ “Everlong” and “What You Won’t Do for Love” by Bobby Caldwell. The unconventional blend of genres, combined with her original one-girl band technique caught the eye of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel who invited her to play on his show the following month. A few live looping videos and 30 million views later, Elise has continued to grow her online fan base around her unique musicality. After a few tour runs, Elise is currently spending time in the studio working on her next album and looks forward to hitting the road again soon.
