Jason Bier

Jason Bier is the President of the Federation for Internet Alerts (FIA), leading its mission as a global facilitator for internet technology to save lives. Since 2011, FIA has validated over two million emergency alerts through its Alert Hub and re-disseminated more than three billion life-critical alerts for missing children and weather emergencies to the public using cloud and ad technology. FIA’s partners include Amazon Web Services, AppNexus, Conversant, Engine, GroupM, ICMEC, and the Digital Signage Federation. FIA has won 15 globally recognized accolades, including two People's Choice Webby Awards and two Shorty Social Good Awards for Best Technology. Jason also serves as Engine’s Chief Data & Privacy Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Juris Doctorate from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
