Kiersten Stead

Dr. Kiersten Stead is a Managing Partner at DCVC Bio. DCVC Bio is an early-staged Venture Capital Fund that supports bold companies that have a computational advantage and are building platforms that serve life science industries. This spans agriculture, human health, and biotechnology. The computational advantage can take many forms from in-silico AI systems, to robotics, and beyond. Prior to DCVC Bio, Dr. Stead was an Investment Director at Monsanto Growth Ventures (MGV) the Venture Capital arm of Monsanto, which was one of the most active investors globally in agriculture. Dr. Stead has over 15 years of experience in the Biotechnology industry. Prior to joining MGV, Kiersten was on the Burrill & Company Venture Team which invested broadly in Life Sciences and Industrial Biotechnology.
