Amanda Wilson

Dr. Wilson is an addiction medicine specialist, thought leader, investor and entrepreneur, who spent the past decade pioneering evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder and promoting a harm reduction approach to patient care.

Dr. Wilson was the Founder, CEO and Chairwoman of CleanSlate Addiction Treatment Centers, a physician-led medical group, which currently provides outpatient medication treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders in 55 clinics across 10 states and Washington, D.C. CleanSlate has provided care for over 35,000 people with addictive disorders.

In 2012, Dr. Wilson Accepted the 2012 SAMHSA Science and Service Award from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for thought leadership in the Addiction treatment space.

For the US Opioid Task Force, American Society of Addiction Medicine, FDA & others, Amanda has served to provide expert guidance in the development of the “gold standard” national guidelines for medication treatment.

Currently, Dr. Wilson is the co-Founder, an investor, and the executive chairwoman of Boulder Care, Inc. A healthcare technology company that has developed a novel, evidence based, virtual medication assisted treatment program using a comprehensive team approach to care delivered directly to any patient on a mobile device. Pilots of this innovative care approach using the Boulder platform are occuring in rural, underserved areas in great need of care today.
