Jeffrey Amoscato started his restaurant career in the New York City kitchens of Jean Georges and Le Cirque 2000 and internationally at Ristorante San Domenico di Imola in Imola, Italy. In 2004 Jeff joined Union Square Hospitality Group as part of the opening team at the Museum of Modern Art as a restaurant manager for The Modern. Jeff was soon given the opportunity to lead the purchasing function for all of the restaurants at MoMA as the Director of Purchasing. In 2007 Jeff joined the USHG corporate office as the Purchasing and Systems Operations Manager working with all the restaurants, from Union Square Cafe and Gramercy Tavern to a little burger kiosk in Madison Square Park called Shake Shack. During this time with USHG Jeff became involved in the opening of the second Shake Shack in 2008 and multiple others in 2009 and 2010. In 2011 Jeff became one of the first full time Shake Shack corporate office employees as the Director or Purchasing. Jeff’s role quickly expanded to Director of Supply Chain responsible for all Supply Chain, Culinary and Quality Assurance functions. Jeff is currently Vice President of Supply Chain and Menu Innovation.
Jeff holds an AOS in Culinary Arts and a BA in Food and Beverage Management from the New England Culinary Institute.
