Lauren Wilner is the vice president of business development, fashion, for Macy’s. In this role, Lauren leads fashion-focused initiatives and innovations that align with Macy’s broader strategic objectives including Macys Style Crew, the initiative that empowers colleagues to become Macy’s brand ambassadors via shoppable video through social media, and The Market @ Macy’s, a unique pop-up business model that helps both emerging and established brands reach new audiences in some of Macy’s most highly trafficked stores.
Lauren first joined Macy’s in 2013 as vice president, fashion director, of Macy’s Merchandising Group for accessories and subsequently took on the role of vice president, fashion director, for RTW and beauty. Before joining Macy’s, Inc., she was a vice president at HSN where she led innovation, content and commerce in the TV retail space. Prior to HSN, Laure was a buyer at Scoop NYC, where she held various leadership roles there, including director of product development and sourcing. Lauren began her career in fashion forecasting at The Doneger Group.
Wilner holds a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from The George Washington University and is a member of Fashion Group International and the ‘Fempire,’ a Woman’s led cooperative.
