Demmy Adesina is the Founder and CEO of Rensource, a West Africa-focused distributed energy company that is changing Nigeria’s power sector. Demmy has worked with entrepreneurial management teams in challenging operating environments, focusing on building or turning around early- and growth-stage enterprises in Africa as both investor and executive. Demmy was Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Capricorn Investment Group, the Palo Alto-based investment company that manages assets for Jeff Skoll and the Skoll Foundation. He previously worked as Head of Business Development and Corporate Strategy for Aquifer, an investment company affiliated with the family office of Lord Sainsbury of Turville and the Gatsby Trust; at the Rockefeller Foundation, where he was a founding member of the Global Impact Investing Network and the Innovation for Development Initiative; and at JPMorgan in New York.
