Stephen Plumlee

Stephen Plumlee has been the Global Chief Operating Officer of R/GA Media Group, Inc. since 2006. During that time, he has overseen the company’s dramatic growth and expansion to sixteen cities around the world. (www.rga.com)

In 2013, Stephen led the establishment of R/GA Ventures, which he manages, and the R/GA Accelerator. The 2014 and 2015 classes of the R/GA Accelerator have focused on the Internet of Things and Connected Devices. (www.rgaaccelerator.com).

In 2015, R/GA partnered with the LA Dodgers for the world's first accelerator dedicated to sports tech (www.dodgersaccelerator.com), and recently completed a program focused on food/hospitality in partnership with MetroAG (www.techstarsmetro.com). R/GA also operates the Cannes Startup Academy www.canneslions.com/programme/startup_academy).

Stephen is on the Board of Directors of BRIC Arts l Media l Bklyn, which presents contemporary art, performing arts, and community media programs that reflect Brooklyn’s creativity and diversity. BRIC also provides resources to launch, nurture, and showcase artists and media makers. Stephen has served as BRIC’s Treasurer since 2011. (www.bricartsmedia.org)

Stephen has also served on two land trusts in rural northwest Connecticut. He is an active supporter of open space and farmland preservation as well as the sustainable agriculture, community farming, and local food movements.
