Tommy Moffat

Tommy is a 17-year-old working on applying quantum machine learning to difficult problems like pharmaceutical drug discovery and metamaterials design. He's worked with leading companies in quantum computing including Rigetti, Xanadu, and D-Wave to develop and implement quantum algorithms and research. Last summer, he collaborated with the tech startup accelerator Creative Destruction Lab in their quantum machine learning stream to convert cutting-edge research into impactful and lucrative companies. Tommy has also consulted with companies like Airbnb, Microsoft, Nestle, and Walmart on some of their highest-priority issues, and recently worked as an innovation developer at Zero Gravity Labs. Tommy began his journey at The Knowledge Society (TKS), a human accelerator that has allowed him to grow exponentially over the past 2 years and deeply explore his passion for quantum computing.
