Betsy Rodgers

Betsy Rodgers is currently Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs at AMC Networks, Inc. where she heads up the Business and Legal Affairs department for all of the divisions under the IFC Entertainment umbrella, which include the film distribution labels IFC Films, Sundance Selects and IFC Midnight; the production company IFC Productions; and the NYC arthouse movie theater the IFC Center along with its owned festivals, including DOC NYC, What the Fest!? and Split Screens Festival. Prior to her role at IFCE, Betsy was a senior attorney in Rainbow Media’s National Services group and advised the AMC, WE tv and IFC television network businesses in addition to IFCE. Before joining Rainbow Media/AMCN, she was a corporate attorney at the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where her focus was on mergers and acquisitions, securities and private equity transactions. Betsy is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Texas School of Law.
