Andy Lalinde
Andy came to the United States from Colombia as a child. He applied for his citizenship in 1990. While his citizenship case was still pending, he enlisted in the Army in 1996. Three years later, with the help of his congressman and a three-star general, he was able to become a US citizen. Andy went on to graduate from West Point and served as an officer in the United States Army. After his military service, he served as a contractor in Afghanistan and graduated from Columbia University as a Leman Fellow in International Security Policy. He also holds a graduate degree in International Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil. Today he is a Senior Strategic Intelligence Analyst with AS Solution North America Inc., a security provider for Microsoft.
