Katrina Klett

Katrina Klett was raised in a migratory beekeeping family in the United States. She grew up fully immersed in the industry and as an adult has used her beekeeping knowledge in rural development in places such as China, Vietnam, and India. In 2014, she co-founded Elevated Honey Co., a honey company operating in the mountains of Southwest China, to improve supply chain traceability and assure producers were treated fairly. In addition to her work as a CEO and beekeeper, Katrina is currently finishing up a graduate degree at the Chinese Academy of Science. She uses chemical ecology to study honeybee pheromones and swarming behavior.
