Brittney Cooper

Dr. Brittney Cooper is author of Eloquent Rage: A Black Feminist Discovers Her Superpower (St. Martins, 2018) and Beyond Respectability: The Intellectual Thought of Race Women (U of Illinois, 2017). She is also Associate Professor of Women's, Gender, and Africana Studies at Rutgers University. A native of Louisiana, she's a proud of Southern expat to the North, a sweet tea connoisseur, and a co-founder of the Crunk Feminist Collective.
