Catherine Connors

Catherine Connors is President of Women Rising, an impact-driven media company that develops and amplifies purpose-driven storytelling that centers women and girls, the founder and executive of Demeter Media, a research and media development company dedicated to developing purpose-driven media properties and products aimed at women and girls, and the co-author of The Feminine Revolution. She’s the former co-founder and CCO of Maverick, a digital creative network for girls, and former Head of Content and Editor In Chief at Disney Interactive Media, where she led content and brand strategy. In 2015 she founded Demeter Media Group; Demeter Media's flagship project, Project Girl Quest, was the foundation for Maverick, which launched in 2018 and was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies (Social Media), 2019.
