Anne Atkinson
Anne S. Atkinson is Counsel in Pryor Cashman’s Media + Entertainment and Intellectual Property Groups. Based in New York, she specializes in finance, production and distribution matters for major motion picture studios and television networks, independent production companies, screenwriters, directors, producers and content providers.
During her over four decades in practice, Anne has helped clients facilitate pioneering ventures, including filmmaker David Gordon Green’s recent deal to direct and executive produce the pilot for a new television series for Apple about acclaimed 19th-century poet Emily Dickinson; magician Chris Jones’s series for Facebook Watch; and cutting edge artists such as Kenzo Digital for immersive theater, augmented and virtual reality projects, as well as all aspects of independent (and studio) films.
Before joining Pryor Cashman, she spent more than 20 years in-house at various times, including as General Counsel for A&E Television Networks, where she led the Legal and Business Affairs department, and as Deputy General Counsel at Columbia Pictures Industries.
