Matthew Maxey is the deaf CEO of DEAFinitely Dope, engineered to help break barriers between the hearing and deaf worlds through the merge of sign language and music for both communities. DEAFinitelyDope was founded in 2014 and has since been featured in multiple mainstream staples such as: GQ magazine, Complex, ESPN the Undefeated, Rise Up, CNN, MTV, and more. After touring with Chance The Rapper in 2017, Matt has done numerous appearances for high schools, colleges, organizations and events on behalf of inclusion and accessibility for the deaf community with his platform. Matt has also established a clothing line as a brand to support unity between people of all sorts and showcase a deaf owned business that has the ability to reach the mainstream in a DEAFinitely Dope way.
