Yvette D. Clarke

Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, CD, proudly represents New York's Ninth Congressional District.

She serves as the Vice Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. She is also a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, on which she has previously served.

In addition to her committee work, Congresswoman Clarke serves as the Chair of the Multicultural Media Caucus; the Co-Chair of the Caucus on Black Women & Girls and; the Co-Chair of the Congressional Caribbean Caucus; the Co-Chair of the bipartisan Smart Cities Caucus, and is a Member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Congresswoman Clarke currently resides in the neighborhood where she grew up, in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.
