Séverine Tibi is a film producer originally from Cannes and currently living in London (UK) who is fascinated by the power of visual storytelling and by how films can connect people from all over the world.
After graduating from the ESRA film school in Nice, Séverine worked in a production and distribution company in the south of France. She then moved to the UK and worked as Business Partnerships Coordinator at the British Film Institute.
In July 2017, Séverine set up the Cannes-based film production company, Sevana Films, with Anaïs Calmels. Their purpose is to find, nurture and promote talented and unique emerging filmmakers from across the globe. Their first feature documentary ‘Fenua Aihere: The Heart of Tahiti’ had its first broadcast on French TV (France Ô) in late 2018. They are currently working on a number of shorts and features as well as travelling to international film festivals as consultants, through talent development programs or to look for for the next generation of storytellers.
