Andrea Dimity is a literary manager, producer and founder of Pannon Entertainment, Inc., a management and production company based in Burbank, California. Pannon Entertainment places emphasis on the career development of writers and directors while at the same time provides entertainment technology consulting and production services to notable players in the industry.
For more than a decade, Andrea has been actively working in feature film development and production. Prior to launching Pannon Entertainment, Inc., she worked for producers such as Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Di Bonaventura Pictures; Transformers, G.I. Joe etc.), Todd Phillips (Joint Effort; Hangover, War Dogs..), Chris Meledandri (Illumination Entertainment; Despicable Me, Dr. Seuss, Hop). She has also served as Associate Producer (Untitled HL Project) at the Walt Disney Studios and was previously engaged on a local Walt Disney Studios production called the United that was shot entirely in Jordan.
Andrea is a frequent lecturer on careers in screenwriting and related topics and is often invited to film festivals as an expert in the field of literary management. Andrea also serves as a judge for many film festivals and screenplay competitions including the Austin Film Festival, Cinequest, The International Page Awards, ScreenCraft, The Writers Store, UCLA Showcase and many others.
Andrea is currently executive producing Burn Run for Thunder Road Pictures, an action thriller that was written by Mitch LaFortune. Her client Pete Barry is the writer of Marian, a twist on a Robin Hood tale that was sold to Amy Pascal and Colombia Pictures with Margot Robbie starring and producing along with Donald De Line and Rock Shaink.
