Catalina Vargas

Catalina Vargas, ACD Quality Program and Resource Mobilization, is leading the program strategy in Ecuador and guarantee the key opportunities providing the resources to continue implementing the actions on the field. She has more than 10 years of experience, she has been working with CARE for more than 6 years, first in CARE France supporting the projects implementing in Latin America, and since 3 years she moved to Ecuador. Catalina has the experience in gender, education programs in Colombia and contributed to the early recovery response in Haiti from France. She has a Master in International cooperation from the Sorbonne University in Paris. She is Colombian but living around 10 years out of her country, engaged with the development and promoting the gender equity in Latin America, she is now pleased to contribute from LAC
