Shivika Sahdev
Shivika Sahdev is a leader of McKinsey’s work on disruptive mobility in the automotive and advanced industries. She spends much of her time helping automakers, airplane makers, suppliers, private-equity investors, and others in the value chain figure out how to manage their business in light of disruptions from technological changes—such as electrification and autonomy—and from trends such as shared mobility.
Sahdev has particular depth of expertise in electric-vehicle (EV) infrastructure, hybrid electric propulsion, and electric-vehicle take-off and landing (eVTOL) applications in aircraft. Among her recent projects, she supported one of the largest EV infrastructure networks in the United States, helped develop e-mobility solutions for a US city, and she quantified the market potential for disruptions in air mobility.
In her spare time, Sahdev serves on the board of Grist, an independent media organization dedicated to environmental journalism.
