Adolescent Content

Hobbes Ginsberg is a trans woman photographer and filmmaker (of Directing Duo Red Lighter Films) who makes colorful, vulnerable, hyper-saturated work about identity and the evolution of self. She loves being able to make beautiful things that bring positivity and empathy into the world. As a creator and someone with a lot of love for her queer identity and the LGBT community she feels very personally attached and excited about LGBT representation in media. Marrying intersectional feminism with film, Hobbes seeks to create and produce work with dynamic, complex media representation for the marginalized groups who don’t get it often enough. She believes collaborative efforts yield the best products, and stresses the importance of community in filmmaking.
