Kathy Laborde

Kathy Laborde is President and CEO of the Gulf Coast Housing Partnership (GCHP), a real estate development company based in New Orleans focused on affordable housing and transformative neighborhood-based development along the Gulf Coast corridor from Texas to Florida. GCHP grew out of discussions in the fall of 2005 among members of the Housing Partnership Network, a business alliance of the nation’s most accomplished affordable housing developers, service providers and lenders, who were seeking to assist with rebuilding efforts along the Gulf Coast after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Under Kathy’s leadership, GCHP has developed more than 3,000 units in partnership with service providers, for profit and nonprofit developers, public partners and other mission-focused organizations. GHCP has been recognized with multiple awards, including the 2016 Community Builder Award and 2015 Award for Excellence Historic Preservation.
