Joanna Strober is an entrepreneur and investor in companies that have a positive impact on the world!

Ms. Strober is the founder and CEO of Kurbo Health, a mobile/online weight loss company for kids, teens and their families to help them eat healthier and lose weight. She created the first mobile company attacking childhood obesity through licensing the Stanford Weight Control Program and turning it into a mobile platform with apps and remote coaching. Kurbo works with employers, insurance companies, Medicaid providers and other constituents to change health outcomes for children worldwide by helping them to modify their behaviors and lead healthier lives.

20 year of experience in direct private equity and venture capital investing. Vast expertise marketing to women and families from two decades of advising and investing in successful consumer Internet companies such as BlueNile, Babycenter, eToys, Flycast, and Gloss.com.

Co-author of Getting to 50/50, a Random House book on women and leadership. As an experienced public speaker, Ms. Strober has given many talks on this topic on TV, including the Today Show, and to corporations and educational institutions.
