Liza Donnelly
Liza Donnelly is a contributor to The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, CBS News, Politico, Ms., Medium and other publications. The author of 17 books, her latest is a history, "Very Funny Ladies: The New Yorker’s Women Cartoonists." Donnelly is the creator of digital visual journalism, live-drawing political and cultural events for CBS News, CNN, and The New Yorker. She was the first cartoonist to be credentialed as media at the Academy Awards, which she live-draws every year. Donnelly speaks around the world, and her TED talk, Drawing on Humor for Change, was translated into 40 languages and received 1.5 million views. She lives in New York City.
