Monica Bolles

Resonant Interactions

Monica Bolles is an artist, audio engineer, and composer who brings together her love of digital arts, science, sound, and immersive environments to create and build experiences that question our human relationships and interactions with the world around us. She focuses on developing unique forms of interaction, spatial audio techniques for multichannel speaker arrays, and experiential production for immersive and fulldome environments. She has created and produced works that have been exhibited at the Cube at Virginia Tech, IMERSA fulldome summit, and the Black Box Theater in ATLAS at CU Boulder. She has been a working audio engineer for over five years and has most recently been located at Tippet Rise experimenting and recording classical music artists for 9.1 Auro3D playback. She is cofounder of Dome Tour, a blog documenting the fulldome art scene and community, and is an official IMERSA Ambassador, advocating and promoting innovation and exploration in immersive environments.
