Gregory C. Brown II is a Global Director of Research and Development for UPS. Greg has 23 years of experience in multiple areas of package sortation and logistics. At UPS, Greg works to help develop new material handling solutions, which include Logistic Robots, Autonomous Mobile Robots, Automation Systems, Camera Systems, Database Solutions, Advanced Software, High Speed Sortation, and other KETs (Key Enabling Technologies).
Greg is currently working with two teams at UPS to help move advanced solutions forward. With Plant Engineering, Greg is helping to develop end-state solutions to help develop viable material handling solutions. In addition, he is working on a team hand selected by the CIO to develop the future state for UPS. With the experience and background developed, Greg will help develop a roadmap to the future for UPS.
Greg holds a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from the University of Memphis, amongst other degrees, and he completed an Executive Program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management in “Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy”.
