Bonnie Jenkins
Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins is the Founder and President of the nonprofit organization Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security, and Conflict Transformation. She is also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Ambassador Jenkins previously served as the Coordinator for Threat Reduction Programs at the International Security and Nonproliferation Bureau at the U.S. Department of State; Program Officer for US Foreign and Security Policy at the Ford Foundation; Counsel on the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (9/11 Commission); and General Counsel to the U.S. Commission on the Organization of the Federal Government to Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation. She has been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perry World House; a Research Fellow at the Rand Corporation; and a Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School at Harvard University.
