Michael Ventura is an accomplished entrepreneur, creative director, author and speaker. He founded Sub Rosa in 2009, an award-winning strategy and design practice helping leaders and their organizations explore, learn and grow. He has worked with several Fortune 500 companies, including GE, Google and Nike, startups like SoFi and Warby Parker, as well as notable entities like The United Nations and The Obama Administration.
A dynamic writer and lecturer, Michael is frequently engaged as an advisor to entrepreneurs and leaders of some of the largest corporations across the globe, and has served as an advisor to a variety of organizations including The Burning Man Project and the U.N.'s Tribal Link Foundation. He is an active practitioner of indigenous medicine and also lectures at Princeton University and The United States Military Academy at West Point where he teaches his Applied Empathy curriculum.

Applied Empathy, his first book, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2018.
