Taina Malen has more than 20 years of diverse experience in marketing, business development, executive management and leadership in the entertainment, media and technology industries. She is experienced in leading teams through mergers and acquisitions, as well as building and reshaping teams and organisations in start-up environments, growing businesses and established organizations.

Taina has worked for industry revolutionaries including Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, BMG Music, EMI Australia, Virgin Music and CANAL+ (the leading pay TV provider in the Nordics). Today, she is the COO and CMO of Star Stable, a multi-player adventure game, and one of the few online gaming sites targeted specifically towards girls. Taina has been instrumental in propelling Star Stable to its #1 ranking – where this one-of-a-kind, online horse adventure game is played by 14 million girls in 184 countries, and growing at a clip of 500,000 players each month.
Taina knows the heart and mind of the elusive tween gamer girl – having helped catapult Star Stable to one of the top ten fastest growing companies in Europe (as named by Inc. Magazine). As the #1 and fastest growing horse game in the world, Taina has helped lock partnerships with DreamWorks Animation and Nickelodeon to fill the gap in girl’s digital entertainment by emphasizing the qualities of today’s fearless girl.
Taina is a co-founder and member of the board of Esportal (a state of the art online e-sport arena for Esport gamers), and serves on the boards of high-profile companies including MAG Interactive. Additionally, as a member of the board, Taina helped to guide the US launch of Tidal (first streaming music service dedicated to the hi-def audio experience) and subsequent sale to Jay-Z.
