Andy Kennedy
As the interim director of the Institute of Food Technologists’ Global Food Traceability Center, Andy Kennedy is a leading voice in the world of food traceability, sustainability and food safety. With a focus on technology, Andy has worked in different technology and product development-based roles including consulting, ramping up a successful data management business, and building and selling unique medical devices. Through these experiences he has developed overall understanding of the supply chain process, including product development, sales, operations, financial management and senior management.
Prior to becoming the interim director, Kennedy co-founded FoodLogiQ, a leader in traceability, food safety compliance and supply chain transparency software solutions. Building into these roles, Kennedy served in various leadership positions with a medical device manufacturing company Diba Industries and worked as a technology consultant with Accenture and Clarkston Consulting.
