Christy Turlington Burns
Christy is a mother, global maternal health advocate, and Founder & CEO of Every Mother Counts. In 2010, she founded Every Mother Counts to heighten awareness about the global maternal health crisis and invest in programs around the world to ensure all women have access to quality maternal healthcare. The non-profit is dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere. Prior to her work as a maternal health advocate, Christy received international acclaim as a model representing the world’s biggest fashion and beauty brands. She was the Founder of Nuala, a yoga lifestyle brand in partnership with Puma, and co-founder of Sundari, a skincare product.
