Affectionately known as "Dr. Goddess," Kimberly C. Ellis, Ph.D. is an award-winning Scholar, Artist, Activist and Tech Entrepreneur who loves Digital Strategy, Marketing, Organizing and Social Media.
She worked on Paramount Pictures' campaign for "Fences" and interviewed Gina Prince-Bythewood at SXSW Film for "Beyond The Lights."

@DrGoddess is the author of an upcoming book entitled, "The Bombastic Brilliance of Black Twitter (http://BlackTwitterBook.com)" and giving a talk on "Black Twitter in the Trump Era" at SXSW.

She was on the Official Twitter Team for President Barack Obama's 2012 Election, is a Digital Trainer for Democracy for America; and is one of the authors cited in the publication, "The Best Online Organizing Guide Ever." She provides "Twitter Training" for celebrity artists, thespians and film stars, as well as lawyers, journalists and trial enthusiasts who comment on televised trials, in addition to talks and trainings at Netroots Nation and the Personal Democracy Forum.

A published author, speaker and producer, Dr. Goddess's work is found in The Pittsburgh City Paper, on Alternet.org, Salon.com, Ebony.com, TheLoop21.com, BlackEnterprise.com, MSNBC.com, NPR Radio, BBC_WHYS Radio, Voices of Russia Radio, Sirius/XM Radio and more! She won the YWCA's Racial Justice Award and the Thomas Merton Center's "New Person" Award. She also co-created "Ask a Sista: Black Women Muse on Politics, Policy, Pop Culture and Scholarship." As a performing artist, Dr. Goddess's new piece is entitled, "Headlines and Hashtags."
