John West

John West is the founder and CEO of Whistle, a global sports and entertainment media brand that creates, curates and distributes scripted, unscripted and user-generated content for young audiences.

West is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience launching and building companies. In 1989, West started Enstrat, an environmental services company, which was sold seven years later. In 1996, West joined Mitchell Madison Group, a management consulting firm, and was subsequently elected partner. In 1999, he founded and became chairman of Silver Oak Solutions, a financial software and advisory company that was acquired by CGI, a publicly traded IT outsourcing company, in 2005. West holds a BS in engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
