Zuhairah Washington

Zuhairah, based in Washington, D.C., is active in our Technology and Consumer Practices, with a special focus on Digital. She leverages her experience as an innovative startup founder and operations manager to help venture-backed startups and Fortune 500 companies meet their leadership needs and build vibrant cultures that attract and retain the best talent.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Zuhairah held several regional general management roles at Uber, including full P&L responsibility for one of its top five markets in the U.S. and running East Coast operations for its fintech startup subsidiary. Before that, she founded and served as CEO of Kahnoodle, a VC-backed relationship startup. Earlier, Zuhairah lived and worked in Barcelona, Dubai and London as the Director of Business Development for Europe’s largest local search and user-generated review website, QYPE, which was acquired by Yelp.

Zuhairah earned an MBA and JD from Harvard University and received her BA from UCLA.
