Genki Hagata

Genki Hagata has been working at Huge since early 2015. Before that, he was an art director, product photographer, and artist. He joined Huge as an associate web engineer and has come a long way in a short amount of time, proving himself along the way as a valuable senior developer.
Genki specializes in Frontend development, though he works on a wide range of projects from web, to physical, to IoT devices. His background is in design and digital media art. This unique background lends a valuable view to to the development world and the design/dev relationship. As a developer at Huge, Genki has been a mentor, to junior developers and designers looking to learn more about the development process. It is a long-term goal of his to make designer-developer communication and workflow easy, for everyone.
Genki is a new father, and for fun, he produces daily vlogs on Instagram–with the occasional YouTube video, enjoys photography, and trains for triathlons.
