Felipe Perez Santiago

Felipe Perez Santiago is an internationally acclaimed composer, conductor, guitarist and sound artist. Winner of several prizes and recognitions (including a Platinum Album), he is also a member of the National System of Art Creators in Mexico and has been considered 1 of the 7 most important Mexican artists abroad (and the only musician in this category). He was also selected to be part of the “Keep Walking” campaign of Johnny Walker in Mexico. His compositions have been played and commissioned in more than 40 countries by renowned orchestras and ensembles (eg. Kronos Quartet, Tambuco Ensemble) and his music is included in more than 10 discographic productions. His catalog includes orchestral compositions, chamber music, solo pieces, electronic works, and music for films, dance, video and multimedia installations. Currently, he is a resident artist at the SETI Institute (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) where he is creating projects related to art, science and technology.
