As the Head of Immersive Development at RYOT, Jake crafts immersive content in an effort to expand and explore the human experience by activating the full range of emerging platforms to tell captivating stories. Bolstered by an early entry into the virtual reality arena, Jake has now become an industry leader using immersive content to both alter and improve the way stories are told. In his role at RYOT, Jake and his team work to humanize and commercialize augmented and virtual reality technologies to create more captivating storytelling experiences for the masses. Recent examples of his work can be seen in GLOOMY EYES (VR), A JESTER'S TALE (MAGIC LEAP) and THE DIAL (multi-user mobile AR + projection mapping), which have collectively premiered at countless film festivals around the world including Sundance, SXSW, Sheffield and Tribeca. In addition to leading content development, Jake is also actively involved with RYOT’s Innovation Studio, the new production facility in Los Angeles which has been designed to experiment with forms of storytelling that leverage parent-company Verizon’s 5G wireless technology.
