Bill Shapiro

Bill Shapiro is the co-author of the new book "What We Keep." He is the former Editor-in-Chief of LIFE magazine, the founding Editor of LIFE.com, and has served as Fast Company's Director of Editorial & New Business Enterprises as well the Editor-in-Chief of Getty Images FOTO.

A visual entrepreneur working in the space where creativity, visuals, and business collide, Bill curates fine-art photography exhibits and serves on the Art Advisory Board of SXSW. His previous books include "Gus & Me," a children's book that he wrote with legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, and "Other People's Love Letters."
