Nekpen Osuan is a seasoned analytics professional, certified Project Manager (PMP) and community organizer. An adjunct at NYU's Wagner School of Public Service, Nekpen is a 2019 Coro Leadership New York Fellow and a 2018 92Y Woman inPower Fellow. A first-generation American, Nekpen is a certified facilitator by The New York Humanities Council and People for the American Way Foundation, where she leads trainings on social justice and civic engagement.

Nekpen is passionate about economic empowerment and gender equity. She is the CEO & Co-Founder of WomenWerk (@WomenWerk). WomenWerk is a women's empowerment non-profit founded in 2013 and has reached over 5000 women and girls. Nekpen serves on the junior boards of The Lower East Side Girls Club, Generation Citizen New York, iMentor, and formerly on Community Board 9 of Manhattan, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, and Community Education Council 6 (school board in Manhattan). Nekpen enjoys running, travel and cooking for leisure.
