Ravin Sampat

Ravin is an Executive Producer with BBC News and Digital Current Affairs. He commissions short and long form content for BBC Stories, BBC Like That, and various other strands that target underserved audiences. He has been a journalist for over 8 years, leading on digital innovation in storytelling, and worked for a number of BBC News programmes. Ravin also specialises in audience engagement strategies for current affairs output, user generated content verication, creating new formats, and innovation in news. He created a Snapchat documentary following migrants across Europe, and was also a producer on BBC Panorama’s first ever digital only documentary on Facebook. Ravin is also a Edinburgh TV Festival committee member.
