Megan Park

Megan Park is a feminist, filmmaker, and founder of Putting Women In Their Place which is building a nationwide network of media professionals to amplify the authentic voices of progressive, pro-choice women running for state and local office.

Disheartened by the misogyny and misinformation that was rampant in the 2016 presidential election, Megan started PWITP as a way to empower women, create a nationwide network of like-minded media professionals, and educate voters.

Amplifying authentic voices is the principle that has guided Megan's entire career from her work in independent film, independent press, documentary films, and student filmmaking programs.

Megan is a founding board member for Women In Film, Cincinnati and on the board of the Cindependent Film Festival.

In her spare time, she takes on the task of removing all gun and shooting references from the language of filmmaking.
