A highly respected senior leader with global experience spanning three decades, Nellie Borrero is known for her unwavering passion for inclusion and diversity and sharp focus on equality.
Nellie joined Accenture in 1986 and created the first role for diversity efforts. A deeply committed advocate for change, Nellie believes strongly that Accenture’s rich diversity makes the company stronger and more innovative. Under her direction, the company launched several successful training programs around the world – including in Japan, India, South Africa, Brazil, U.K. and the U.S., among many others. Most recently, she has created and is leading the Global Inclusion & Diversity Market Offering practice, serving multiple clients across industries.
Nellie has lent her voice to publications such as Forbes, The Chicago Tribune, Management Consulting Magazine, Diversity Inc., Diversity Careers in IT & Engineering, Black Enterprise Magazine, Hispanic Executive Magazine, Hispanic Engineering Magazine, and LatinaStyle, she has also been a featured guest on National Public Radio (NPR). Nellie has spoken at prestigious events including The Colloquium on Global Diversity, The Global Summit of Women in New York and most recently most recently at the SHRM Diversity Conference, Latina Style Top 50 and Asian Business Roundtable Conference.
