Jehmu Greene is an evangelist for social good, award-winning media and advocacy strategist, proud Texan and former candidate for Chair of the Democratic National Committee. A Distinguished Fellow at the Athena Center for Leadership at Barnard College, she is in her ninth year as a progressive Fox News Political Analyst where she unapologetically defends progressive values and policies on the network. She previously served as the U.S. president and global Chief Marketing Officer of WakaWaka, working to bring solar power to people living without access to electricity; president of Rock the Vote, where under her leadership the organization registered over 2 million young voters and youth voter turnout had the highest increase ever recorded; president of the Women’s Media Center where she designed the Name It, Change It campaign to fight sexism against women candidates and trained progressive women to amplify their voices in the media. She has worked on over 20 political campaigns and served as an advisor for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. She splits her time between Austin, New York City and Twitter: @jehmu.
