Brinda Penmetsa
Brinda Penmetsa is a proud alumna of the University of Houston, where in 2015 she Co-Founded the Campus Kitchen at the University of Houston, the first at a public university in Texas. What started as a team of four freshmen who wanted to tackle food waste on campus and reduce hunger in the community grew into a program that to date has served nearly 40,000 meals to 400 Houstonians.
Through this experience, Brinda developed a passion for community service and grew as a student, advocate, and leader. After graduating from college, she moved to Dallas to start her first full time job as a technology Consultant.
Brinda serves as a mentor and adviser to millennial changemakers across the country through the Clinton Global Initiative University and Campus Kitchen. She is passionate about food, social impact, education, and pushing the limits of what's possible.
