James Loduca
As Director of Equality at Salesforce, James works with business, government, and civil society to drive Equality for All and the Ethical and Humane Use of Technology.
Previously, James was Senior Vice President at San Francisco AIDS Foundation, where he served as an advisor to the Obama White House and led a $15 million initiative to establish the nation’s first wellness center for gay, bisexual, and transgender men. James has held a number of roles in the private sector, including at Gilead Sciences where he launched the world’s most successful HIV treatment.
James serves on the LGBTQ advisory committee for Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). In 2015, he appeared as an expert speaker at the White House, and in 2016 was a Visiting Scholar in the Israel Civil Leaders Program.
James earned B.A. degrees in political science and communications from University of California, Berkeley and a degree in Spanish from La Universidad Compultense, Madrid. He lives in San Francisco with his partner, Charlie Smith, and their daughter.
