Sergio Zuñiga

Sergio is the Latin-America Regional manager at Village Capital, leading the financial services program and focused on fintech development in the region. He is the former head of innovation and entrepreneurship at BBVA Bank. While at BBVA, Sergio helped raise USD$6.3M for 18 fast growing companies: 4.1 X sales and 60% employability yearly growth over Latam market average. He has more than 12 years of experience in entrepreneurship as co-founder, angel investor and intra-entrepreneur. Sergio holds an MSc. in Entrepreneurship and a BSc. in molecular biology from Lund University in Sweden.
