Pawel Kopczynski

Pawel joined Reuters in 1994 in Warsaw, where he covered the transformation in Eastern Central Europe and the Former Soviet Union following the fall of the Iron Curtain. After a two year stop in London, Pawel moved to Berlin in 2015 and is now responsible for all photography in the Europe Central region. Pawel is also responsible globally for all sports events. He oversees coverage of all the European domestic soccer leagues as well as the Champions League and Europa League, Summer and Winter Olympics, and all world championships. His latest project is connected to Virtual Reality.
